Huge RVs and Arms Events
We know RVs are enablers of great adventures, finding new hiking trails, attending weekend sporting events for the kids or traveling to new sites. RVs provide years of affordable travel fun, freedom and flexibility. Many would like to own an RV and it’s not bad to look around. In Puyallup, Washington, there’s such a showcase.
The Puyallup RV Show from May 3 to 6, located at the Mattress Firm ShowPlex, has something for every leisure need. In Puyallup, see new RVs from over 20 local dealers and visit the RV corral for select pre-owned units. If you’re from out of town, you can easily move around in their provided People Mover. See the many exhibitor booths for a variety of products and services. There are seminars and other presentations. You can sign up for the Hands On RV 101 for new RVers, see new “techy” gadgets, and attend the Travel Trailer Hitching & Unhitching demo. There’s a treasure hunt for the kids, too. And you can even win a Winnebago Travel Trailer! They’ll feature Manufactured Housing Day where you can see all of the RVs, exhibits, seminars and homes for a special price.
On May 19th and 20th, at the AgriPlex, there’s the Washington Arms Collectors’ Show. The Washington Arms Collectors (WAC) is a non-profit corporation, a forum for collectors of arms and their accouterments for exchange and information in a setting of fellowship and camaraderie, in order to foster research, education and publication concerning arms and their relationship to history. It also seeks to broaden the interest of the general public in arms collecting consistent with applicable federal, state and local laws, ordinances, and regulations.
WAC puts on Washington state’s largest gun shows. The largest being in Puyallup, fills up to 1,200 tables (another in Monroe, over 300 tables) making a WAC show a major event. There’s no friendlier pro-gun event or one with a better selection of firearms, ammunition, knives, militaria and accessories. Only WAC members are able to buy, sell and trade firearms at the shows or carry firearms into any of the venues. Non-members and military who are interested have to pay admission.
